Fursaddle Barefoot® 'Happy Valley'

Comfortable for horse AND rider!

The Barefoot model 'Happy Valley' was developed after listening to rider's feedback, who wanted a sheepskin saddle that would not cause problems for the horse's back but one that also offered the comfort of a genuine sheepskin saddle.

The structures of the 'Happy Valley' corresponds to our proven Barefoot saddles: The saddle offers the same protection for the horse and the same flexibility. The integrated VPS system protects the horse's back from pressure points and saddle adapts to the horse's movement to allow muscle development instead of bruising of the muscles. It is therefore possible to use this saddle just as normal with leathers or fenders without any restrictions.

For all riders who want to feel safe in the saddle without feeling restricted! The 'Happy Valley' offers even more comfort for the rider: The seat is super soft with the large incorporated foam padding ensuring such a secure, embedded seat for the rider that he will not want to get off. The saddle offers more than support, it 'surrounds' the rider softly and securely - a fantastic feeling!

A soft, anatomically shaped cushion is secured (velcro) under the genuine sheepskin seat. This makes the seat even more comfortable and easier on the hips as it gives the saddle more of a twist ensuring the rider does not sit too wide.

The underside is made of a thick fleece. The saddle has 4 D-rings.

The pommel insert (comes with wide insert) can be exchanged. High-quality conchas with leather strings for decoration and to attach the sheepskin seat to the saddle base.

We have a specially devised rigging system on this saddle: Two girth straps run through and over padding made of soft leather to avoid coat irritation or even worse pressure points on the sensitive belly. Dressage girth is required.

The pommel (size wide) can be exchanged as with all Barefoots.

The Arizona, Atlanta, Happy Valley, Lazy Mountain and Nottingham models are available in size 3 on special request only with a delivery time of approx. 12-14 weeks. As this is a custom-made product, the right of return or exchange for this saddle does not apply. . The seat size3 is suitable for riders with European clothes size women’s 46-48 and men’s 54-56. Sehr zufrieden

Ich habe den Happy Valley in Größe 2 mit Physiopad für meine Norwegerstute (6 jährig, 143 cm und mit einem eher kurzem Rücken) bestellt. Da ich vorher den Cheyenne von einer Bekannten ausprobieren konnte und mein Pferd damit sehr zufrieden lief. Mein Wunsch war ein Fellsattel, gerne im Westernstil, der aber vor Allem leicht sein sollte und auch nicht drücken sollte, wenn sich mein Pferd noch verändert. Beim ersten Probeauflegen des Happy Valley, war ich mir jedoch etwas unsicher, ob der Sattel nicht etwas zu groß ist, da er auch sehr unförmig und hochgestapelt durch die Schichten aussah. Sobald ich jedoch drauf saß, hab ich mich wohl gefühlt und ich mag auch sehr gerne die Wülste vorne und hinten, ich finde man sitzt dadurch sehr angenehm. Ich habe mich nicht "hochgestapelt" gefühlt, sondern ich konnte direkt die Knie und Unterschenkel anlegen. Vor Allem aber hat mich sehr gefreut, dass mein Pferd so lieb und entspannt gelaufen ist. Keinerlei Mätzchen. Ich hätte es nicht gedacht, da ich schon zwei Sättel vorher gekauft habe, die auch angepaßt wurden. Mein Pony läuft auch nach 6 Wochen mit dem Sattel sehr lieb und entspannt. Kein buckeln mehr und vor Allem kein buckeln mehr im vollen Galopp im Gelände. Ich bin wirklich sehr erleichtert. Eigentlich hätte ich nicht gedacht , dass dieser optisch eher sehr große Sattel auf mein eher kleines Pony paßt, aber ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das Einzige, was ich mir im Nachhinein noch wünschen würde, wäre ein Wechsel-Sitz aus Textil mit Wülsten hinten und vorne für den Sommer, dass wär echt toll! Dann könnte ich den Sattel auch ganzjährig nutzen.
